Andrew J. Will, MD grew up in Bemidji, Minnesota. He is a third generation medical physician, following in the steps of his father, Theodore J. Will, a surgeon, and his grandfather, Theodore H. Will, a family practice physician.

Dr. Will is a graduate of St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN and the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where he was chief resident. He has been in medical practice since 1998.

Dr. Will is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine and American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is the current president of the Minnesota Physiatric Society, the state organization of Minnesota physiatrists and the current president of the Minnesota Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

Dr. Will has been a Minnesota leader in the field of spinal cord stimulation for the treatment of chronic pain. Dr. Will implanted the first MRI compatible spinal cord stimulator in the Midwest which was made by Medtronic. He implanted the first high frequency spinal cord stimulator in Minnesota, a groundbreaking therapy made by Nevro. He is one of only four physicians in Minnesota to have implanted the newest neuromodulation called dorsal root ganglion stimulation, invented by St. Jude.

Dr. Will is at the forefront of his specialty and provides the most advanced care for his patients. He has accompanied his father on volunteer medical trips where he worked with Rotarians in Santa Barbara, Honduras.

Dr. Will lives in Edina with his wife, Staci, and their two children. They both enjoy being active in their children’s school and sporting activities, as well as spending time with their large extended family. He also enjoys spending time on the water in the summer months.
